Clear Path is an outpatient referral service. We are not a crisis center. If you have any thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else, please call the mobile crisis number immediately at 1-800-715-4225. Once you have been assessed by them, you can complete our assessment process.
How it Works
Our main goal at Clear Path is to help you move from a place of uncertainty to a place of clarity. The first step in that process is gathering information in the form of an informal assessment. This assessment is completely self-administered online and it takes less than 10 minutes to complete. It will help us direct you to the appropriate next step on your path to mental and emotional peace.
What kind of questions are asked in the assessment?
Our assessment consists of less than 25 questions that will help determine if therapy is right for you, which type of therapy is right for you and how we can help facilitate your journey to the appropriate source of support.
What if I don't know the answer to a question or don't want to answer?
Most of the questions are fairly straightforward, but if you find that there is a question you don’t know the answer to, just indicate that on the assessment. A Clear Path Clinician will reach out and help you clarify any unanswered questions. We know that answering questions about difficult topics can be hard, but the more honest and forthright you are about what you’re experiencing, the better equipped we will be to help you get unstuck and move toward a more hope-filled future.
Will anyone know my results?
You can rest assured your answers are completely confidential to the Clear Path staff, will NEVER be shared with anyone (*unless you’re at risk of hurting yourself or someone else).
How are you handling the COVID19 pandemic?
We prioritize our client’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. The initial assessment is conducted online and your meeting with a Clear Path Clinician can be conducted virtually if requested.
How do I find out the cost of therapy?
There are a number of different ways to pay for therapy. If you have insurance, indicate it on your initial assessment. Your Clear Path Clinician will take that into account when connecting you to a therapist. Sometimes, it’s more important to find a therapist who specializes in your specific need than to connect with someone who takes your insurance. If this is the case, sometimes therapists offer sliding scale payment options. Your initial Clear Path Assessment is always FREE of out-of-pocket charge to you.
Clear Path Counseling was developed with the goal of providing brief but thorough assessments to help connect individuals in our community with competent and compassionate mental health support. We operate as a clear and connective bridge between reaching out for help and receiving it.
